- a food experiment

Foodiescph started out as a everyday gourmet club in Copenhagen in 2014. I came up with the concept in order to make sure we would meet on a regular basis and to peak our common interest in cooking. Today we are 6 friends who challenge each other in the kitchen. The concept is simple: There are 2 chosen ingredients that your dish must contain. Every dish is rated on 4 criteria: Creativity, Taste, Visual impression, and Storytelling. In the end of the night a winner is chosen. The winner gets to decide the 2 main ingredients for next meetup.

In September 2015 we decided it was time to scale up the concept in order to inspire others and challenge our self. The result was a 1 night exclusive pop-up restaurant in Copenhagen. Beside the challenge of making a pop-up restaurant for 36 people with no education in the food industry whatsoever, we did the visual identity, marketing, communication and planning ourself.  The concept for the pop-up event was to make people talk, and that’s why we only had 2 tables, so the guest would talk to the person next to them, about the dish and how to rate it. (also the rating worked great as feedback)  We also had an instagram competition, where the guest had to decorate the own dish and upload the picture. The pretties decoration won a set of gold silverware.
